Twenty land borders that have been closed for more than a month due to the Covid-19 pandemic will reopen on Monday.

The borders set to reopen include Beitbridge, Maseru Bridge and Lebombo.
The 30 land borders that are currently closed for travel, will remain closed and traveling to and from South Africa is allowed subject to regulations. Daily commuters from neighbouring countries who attend or teach at schools in South Africa, and who are allowed entry into and exit from the country are subject to compliance with health protocols relating to screening for Covid-19,” says the department’s spokesperson Lungi Mtshali.
