that might be lifted. drew griffin, thanks so much. we ll check back with you. in the meantime, three suspe suspects linked to isis have been arrested. nic robertson joining me with the latest on that. what more are you learning about these most recent arrests? reporter: one of the men is believed to be the man that scouted out the attacks here. he is a belgian-born man. he was picked up in the town where president obama was last week for the g-20. he was meeting in a hotel there with two men that turkish authorities believe were members of isis. they believe that they had come to meet dahmani with the aim, it appears, of moving him across the borders into syria and out of the clutches of investigators here. this is a very important arrest for french and belgium authorities. this is a man who appears, as we
reporter: good morning. all of this unfolding on friday march 13th when turkey authorities say british authorities contacted them with the names of two of the teenagers. they were then stopped at the airport. that is istanbul s airport. accompanying these teenagers, whose names authorities have was the third individual. subsequently detained by authorities in the u.k. now released on bail. turkey pointing to this and saying when you give us intelligence and share the names of individuals, we can take action. turkey has been under much scrutiny by europe and the united states of not doing enough to stop the flow from the fighter s in the borders into syria. it is suspected the three teenagers were perhaps attempting to join isis on the battle field. turkey saying if we do share
fighters. in cases of this one like the three teenagers. saying if you share intelligence and turkey wants more intelligence sharing, they will take action. they received the tip early on friday and that evening, that night when they arrived in istanbul s airport, they immediately detained. turkey feels at this stage it is being made out to be much more of a scapegoat. too much blame laid at turkey s feet when it comes to preventing these individuals from reaching isis territory. turkey says europe has to have a certain level of responsibility. the u.s. has to bear a certain level of responsibility stopping the individuals from getting on the planes to begin with. turkey is grappling with a massive flow of foreign fighters. it has a huge border with syria. people who are determined to do so will eventually make their way across.
