Shotwick Lake Sailing enjoy their first race after lockdown © Jayne Rowland The first event of the new Border Counties Midweek Sailing series will be at Budworth Sailing Club on Tuesday 8th June. Hopefully it will be a great start to the series with over twenty boats expected. Obviously, there are still Covid restrictions in place, including pre-entry, so check out the website for details. Only a year late, the Border Counties Midweek Sailing Series is for those of us who are fortunate enough to be able to free-up some time on a Tuesday. It is aimed at those living in the border counties of North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire, although anybody is welcome.
