Gail Borden Public Library in Elgin will present Bet You Didn t Know This About Elgin History from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14.
Elgin historian Jerry Turnquist for the Elgin History Museum will reveal little-know oddities about Elgin, such as unusual weather events and famous people who have visited the city.
