Tom and Lisa Shelton are the co-owner and winemakers of Bordeleau Vineyard & Winery in Eden, Maryland, at the southern tip of the state.
That puts it, at least in driving time, halfway between Baltimore and Virginia Beach, and a similar distance of two hours and 20 minutes from Washington, D.C. It’s a few miles south of Salisbury.
With an early interest in agriculture and using management skills developed at Perdue Farms, Tom followed an interest that was generated when he started making fruit wines while still in his teens.
