i know congress was supposed to take action before it left town. a fight over immigration policy detailed derailed those plans, i should say. talk to us about what to expect here. this is a fight that has been brewing for weeks after the biden administration announced the end of a public health authority known as title 42 that allows officials to turn migrants away at the u.s./mexico bord border. that sparked tensions within the democratic party and among republicans who say the administration is not prepared for the influx of migrants that are expected when this authority ends. still, the administration is warning about the need for this $10 billion funding package to continue the federal response to the covid-19 pandemic as well as to provide aid to ukraine. in a statement, a white house official told cnn, quote, as congress returns for recess, the administration will be focused on working with lawmakers to
