A pupil at Rolestown National School has made his mark in the art world by having his artwork featured in the prestigious 2021 Texaco Children s Art Competition Calendar.
The prizewinning artwork, entered by Rolestown student Bora Ozalp, is one of just 13 artworks selected from the archives to illustrate the 2021 Texaco Children s Art Competition Calendar, which has just published.
Bora s artwork was selected Amongst artworks drawn from the past 16 years of the competition.
Bora submitted his entry, entitled Battle Through The Broken Window in the 65th year of the competition, held in 2019, as a pupil at Rolestown National School.
He won third prize in the 9-11 years age category.
