A university musical/sketch-comedy troupe is hoping to add some levity to the lockdown with a new online show.
Queen’s Players which donates the proceeds from its annual three shows to local charities will present “Doctor Booze Clues: A CommuniTEA In Modern Times” online Jan. 15 and 16 at 8:30 p.m. on its YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/queensplayers).

The student-written show, which is comprised of prerecorded material and a live Zoom call, is “set in a satirical version of Queen’s University,” a news release states, and “the quirky and familiar characters are tasked with solving a crime while adjusting to the trials and tribulations of online learning.”
