Accor has started to promote Alternate State Quarantine (ASQ) accommodation hotels available within the group.
Those wishing to visit Thailand must first quarantine for 15 nights at one of the ASQ hotels with two Covid-19 tests.
You can access this offer on Accor’s website here.

Conclusion
There are some good ASQ deals around, and most of them are eligible for loyalty program points, status nights/stays, and benefits.
You can essentially visit Thailand currently for 60 nights but need to first quarantine for 15-nights. I could perhaps entertain going to the country if they lower the quarantine requirement to a third (5 nights).

IHG Hotels have launched or perhaps continued their Diving Privileges-program for loyalty program members through December 30, 2021.
IHG Rewards Club, Gold, Platinum, Spire Elite, and Ambassadors members save up to 20% while earning 250 points for every $25 spend.
You can access this offer on IHG’s website here.
Here’s the discount information:
Here are the participating hotels as of January 2021:
Note that there could be leased F&B outlets within a hotel that are ineligible for a discount.
Conclusion
Many hotel chains in Southeast Asia offer Dining Club with 50% off discounts when two are wining & dining together, accompanied by accommodation vouchers. These “clubs” are not free but make sense if you utilize their F&B outlets a lot.

Accor updated its Covid-19 reservation cancellation and refund policy last time on January 25, 2021, which clearly spells out only flexible reservations can be refunded while non-refundable ones only amended (read more here).
Accor then sends out an email on Thursday that claims, “Now, you can cancel or tweak any booking – penalty free – up to three days before you arrive.” There is no small print on the email that it would NOT apply to all rate plans.
