(Don Treeger / The Republican) Facebook Share HOLYOKE Mental Health Associates, Inc. has begun welcoming residents to 11 Yale St. the Tudor-style home that will serve LGBTQ clients with addiction or mental health issues. Bonnie O’Donnell, the home’s program director, led a tour of the facility last week. “I thought they did an incredible job of retaining the integrity of a 1920s house,” she said. The group home has received local and state certifications to operate a 16-bed facility in the residential neighborhood. The Yale Street facility is the sole residential setting for LGBTQ clients in Massachusetts, according to O’Donnell.
