WATCHUNG – Borough Council Republican candidates Sonia Abi-Habib and Robert Gibbs, and Democratic candidate Kristy Hartman, all have their fingers on the pulse of local issues.
Update: Bonnie Burn Road and Hillcrest Road were reopened Thursday morning.
WATCHUNG - Hillcrest Road and Bonnie Burn Road were closed at about 6 p.m. Wednesday as a major snowstorm arrives in the area, according to a Nixle alert from the Watchung Police Department.
Police advise residents to seek alternate routes if they are driving, but to stay off the roads as a whole as the storm continues into Thursday morning.
In addition, the Green Brook Township Police Department sent out alerts stating that Warrenville Road and Washington Avenue are both closed north of Route 22.
