DULUTH, MN (KDAL) â Among the highlights of this yearâs Grandmaâs Marathon is the return of three former champions and an American mile record holder.
2019 defending menâs champ Boniface Kongin will be back and womenâs champ Sarah Kiptoo will try to become a three time winner of the marathon.
Also in the womenâs elite field this year is the 2013 winner, Pasca Meyers.
Running his first marathon will be former Olympian and the American record holder for the mile, Alan Webb. Now an assistant cross country coach at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Webb has heard good things about Duluth and is selecting Grandmaâs for his first marathon run.
