Siphesihle Tatsi, a former member of the controversial Mancoba Seven Angels Ministries who has been sentenced to 141 years for the killing of five Ngcobo policemen told a chilling story of how his mother turned her back on him when he sought a lawyer and changed his plea to not guilty.
One of the five Mancoba Seven Angel Ministry church members arrested for killing five Ngcobo police officers in 2018 asked the Mthatha High Court to disregard a signed confession which he says he was forced to sign by police following his arrest. Siphesihle Tatsi, 24, the youngest of the accused, was giving his closing legal arguments on Monday.
