Thrissur: Recently, two medical students from Thrissur Medical College named Janaki Omkumar and Naveen Razak took the internet by storm with their performance on Boney M s Rasputin. Their peppy dance won a lot of hearts and was shared far and wide online.
However, that was not the only kind of attention it got. According to The Hindu, a lawyer took to Facebook and shared a post highlighting the duo s religion. While Omkumar was Hindu, Razak was Muslim. Therefore, a love jihad angle was perpetuated that garnered hate for the two of them on various social media platforms.
