Daniel L Danny Glover – Grayville

Daniel L. "Danny" Glover passed from this life to Heaven, Sunday, July 3, 2022, at 7:05 am, surrounded by his loving family, who stayed by his side for three days. Danny was born May 20, 1952, in Grayville, IL, to Leo and Vonda (Hortin) Glover. He grew up in Grayville, graduating from Grayville High School in 1970. Danny had a God-given gift of music. He played the trombone, guitar, sang and wrote songs. He joined the Mt. Vernon unit of the Illinois National Guard in 1977 and served six years. Danny married his sweetheart, Debbie Hering, on Dec. 16, 1972. They made their home on the farm in Bone Gap, where Danny and Debbie poured their hearts into keeping the farm going, working side by side every day. Danny and Debbie were blessed with two sons, Mike and David. He was so proud of them, and he loved his daughters-in-law, Lisa and Amy, like his own. Alderman Tyler Lampley has announced that all flags in the city are to be flown at half-staff until further notice in honor of the passing of Fairfield Mayor Dr. Mike Dreith. Dr. Michael L. Dreith, age 65, of Fairfield, died Saturday, May 28th. According to the Wayne County Coroner's office, local responders were dispatched to a rural Wayne County location Saturday afternoon. Dr. Dreith was transported by ambulance to Fairfield Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Dr. Dreith's manner of death was ruled due to natural causes. Memorial Day services have been set in Fairfield at the Veterans Section in Maple Hill Cemetery. Dave Land will emcee, and Robert Taylor will be the featured speaker. Taylor attended grade school in Mt. Erie and high school in Cisne, has been a pastor at the Mt. Erie Church of the Nazarene for the past seven years, and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Maxwell Reisinger – Olney

Maxwell Reisinger 79 of Olney, IL passed from this life to eternal life on Friday, February 11, 2022. Max was born on August 5, 1942, to Harold and Helen Reisinger of Bone Gap, IL. During high school Max was president of the FFA and excelled in Football. Max was a hard-working farmer and hog producer. Later Max enjoyed Motocross and stock car racing and had a successful tenure as an Oil-well producer, then living his retirement in Olney, IL. He was a father and grandfather, and if you visited Max, you would see his walls covered in pictures of friends and family that were dear to him. Max is survived by his children Joe Reisinger Jacksonville FL, Curtis (Tonya) Reisinger Batavia OH, Todd Reisinger Brunswick GA, Jeremy Reisinger Flora IL, Mathew Reisinger Mayfield KY, and Danielle Schmidt.
