RETAILERS in Warminster went above and beyond the call of duty to put a little sparkle and magic into the town’s festive season displays for shoppers in the run up to Christmas and the New Year. More than 30 shops entered this year’s best dressed window display competition organised by Warminster Town Council, which was slightly toned down from the original idea due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. A council spokesman said: “We are not encouraging people to be out unnecessarily, but it still promotes the town and makes everyone feel festive and cheerful – something we all need - and the town’s shops put on a fantastic festive display.”
