A SECOND virtual tour of Oxton s secret gardens in aid of local charities will take place next weekend. The popular Secret Gardens of Oxton festival has been cancelled again this year because of Covid, but you can still enjoy the event from the comfort of your own home. Dozens of videos and photographs of some of the village’s stunning private and public gardens will be shown free on the internet on Sunday, May 9. Money raised from sponsorship, raffles and voluntary online donations will be split between the Oxton Society and Friends of the Arno. The event is also supporting Wirral Foodbank again by placing food donation boxes in Oxton Village.
