and can report the name of the third suspect, this american. that is correct. and i just sort of wanted to start at the beginning here, also, brooke, to give you some sense of what these documents are saying. this is the criminal complaint that has been put in by the fbi agent who essentially has all the information to allege se certain things happened, certain crimes. and what is fascinating about all of this is they start on right around the time of the bombing. the complaint says that dzhokhar tsarnaev was living in the dormitory with these characters, kadyrbayev and the other. the fbi apparently searched the room, finding among other things bbs, a large pyrotechnic and a black jacket, and a white hat of the same appearance as those warn by bomber two at the boston
and dzhokhar tsarnaev is a few feet behind. the two are seen a half block away from a restaurant camera. a minute later, bomber one, tamerlan walks out of the crowd with a knapsack on his back. at 2:45, alleged bomber two, dzhokhar walks to the finish line. he has a cell phone in his left hand. the affidavit says he stops near a metal barrier his back to the cameras and he is apparently slipping his knapsack on the ground. he stands there for four minutes, looking at his cell phone appearing to take a picture and a deadly final 30 seconds. just before the first explosion, dzhokhar tsarnaev lifts the phone to his ear as if speaking on it. for 18 seconds he keeps the phone to his ear. as he appears to finish his call
evidence they have. they have a lot of videotape evidence. according to the affidavit, suspect one and suspect two showed up in the area about 11 minutes before these bombs went off, both carrying large knapsacks. they detach from the crowd, reposition, then bomber two, dzhokhar tsarnaev who remains here in the hospital, the man in custody now, is seen slipping his knapsack onto the ground. here is precisely what the agent writes. approximately 30 seconds seconds before the first explosion lifts his phone to his ear as if speaking on his cell phone and keeps it there for 18 seconds. a few seconds later he finishes the call. the large crowd of people around him are reacting to the first explosion. virtually every head turns to the east towards the finish line and stares in that direction in apparent bewilderment and alarm. bomber two, virtually alone among individuals in the restaurant appears calm. this is one of the reasons that he stood out so
