Netflix asked to stop streaming Pooja Bhatt s Bombay Begums by child rights body
Netflix has been asked to stop streaming Alankrita Shrivastava s Bombay Begums by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR). The commission has said that the content of the show may result in the abuse and exploitation of children.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has asked Netflix to stop streaming Pooja Bhatt s Bombay Begums. The child rights body said that the contents of the show may result in the abuse and exploitation of children. NCPCR issued a notice to the streaming platform and asked for a detailed report within 24 hours on the action taken by it, failing which it said that it would initiate “appropriate legal action” against the streaming platform.
Actress Pooja Bhatt recalls initially saying no to the upcoming series Bombay Begums despite loving the synopsis. She managed to fit in the project only when the makers reworked the schedule.
