A PRIMARY school certainly knows how to put the ‘wow’ factor into lessons. For the first time since the start of the pandemic, pupils of Kearsley West Primary enjoyed a week of trips out and the chance to take part in learning outside the school grounds when the school brought back its popular ‘WoW Week’. The week is when traditional lessons are cancelled and children learn about a new and exciting topic which their head says has “been dearly missed” by pupils and staff. Paderborn, Bolton s twin town in Germany, was the topic which children explored everything from geography to culture and history of the two areas.
