Manchester United’s €2million bid to loan Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina has been rejected.The Athletic reported earlier today that United were attempting to structure a deal for the 27-year-old midfielder with the club’s financial fair play parameters in mind.United approached the Serie A club with a proposal that included a fixed loan fee for the Morocco international payable in two €1m instalments.However, a break clause was also included in the loan agreement.The break clause, effective in January, would come prior to the second €1m instalment.Fiorentina turned down the offer on the basis they would only be guaranteed €1m.Their preference is for a permanent sale while a loan with an obligation is also an option. They value the player at €35m.Talks between the two clubs are set to continue ahead of Friday's deadline.Additional reporting: Dan Sheldon
