Without skates, since theres a similarity in many of the movements. What in ballet translates to ice skating . Everything. Posture, musicality, dedication, discipline. Reporter polina was 8 years old when her mom first enrolled her in ballet to help her on the ice. Her Dance Teachers say they immediately recognized polinas focus and dedication to her sport and helped her prepare.
