Bollinger Shipyards LLC has delivered the USCGC GLEN HARRIS to the U.S. Coast Guard in Key West, Florida. This is the 167
th vessel Bollinger has delivered to the U.S. Coast Guard over a 35-year period and the 44

The USCGC GLEN HARRIS is the third of six FRCs to be home-ported in Manama, Bahrain, which will replace the aging 110’ Island Class Patrol Boats, built by Bollinger Shipyards 30 years ago, supporting the Patrol Forces Southwest Asia (PATFORSWA), the U.S. Coast Guard’s largest overseas presence outside the United States.

Latest Bollinger-built Coast Guard cutter destined for Middle East
Bollinger Shipyards in Lockport has delivered its latest cutter to the Coast Guard, officials said Monday.
The Robert Goldman is the second of six cutters destined for overseas operations in Manama, Bahrain, to support U.S. interests in the Persian Gulf.
It s the 165th vessel Bollinger has delivered to the Coast Guard over a 35-year period and the 42nd Fast Response Cutter delivered under the current program, which started in 2008.
Each cutter costs about $65 million, and the entire program will cost the Coast Guard more than $3.7 billion, federal records show. The cutters replace the 110-foot Island Class Patrol Boats, built by Bollinger 30 years ago.
