Automated phone calls from telemarketers, selling credit card. Security systems, bank loans. Many of the robo calls are illegal. Turns out if it is happening to you you mare be able to turn the tables and get robocall revenge. Abcs matt gutman explains. Reporter the unwanted calls come in by the millions every day. Anywhere from five to six per day. Reporter drivia debt collec robocall, 204 bombarding 17yearold Heather Waites cell phone. They started calling two, three times a day. Reporter thing is heather had no debt. Zero. She was in high school. 68 of cell phone owners receive at least some unwanted calls. A quarter of them say it happens several times a week. But most dont know that these calls to cell phones are illegal under fell rderal law. Robo callers, face a penalty, they could owe you 500 to 1,500 for every unwanted call. The
