The pastor was said to have been killed at the church premises located at Maidan area in Ikosi Ketu, Lagos state.
Ibrahim was said to be praying during a child dedication service on Sunday, when the gunmen attacked the church and shot him dead.
Confirming the development, Muyiwa Adejobi, police spokesperson, in a statement on Wednesday, said the assailants targeted the pastor when they attacked the church.

Adejobi noted that the police have a clue into the killing and that they are investigating the case.
“A man was attacked during church service. The assailants went for him in the church. We are investigating the case, because we have a clue into the killing,” he told TheCable.
