Joyous South Africans, young and old, of all races, skipped work, school and even left their hospital beds on Thursday as they came together in Pretoria to celebrate the Springboks as the rugby world champions.
As the Springboks took to the streets of Johannesburg on Thursday, a few ambitious rugby supporters used the opportunity to "shoot their shot" at love with their favourites.
The world champions kicked off their tour in Gauteng and made pit stops in Pretoria, where they made stops at the Union Buildings and Tshwane House, Johannesburg and then Soweto.
The OR Tambo International Airport was abuzz with excitement as fans took over terminals on Tuesday to welcome world champions, the Springboks, home from France.
