Lepine, who hails from Brandon, Man., was known for his selflessness and generosity, says his former girlfriend Destiny Cathcart. Lepine died at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on Wednesday after he was injured during an attack on Nov. 12, a Brandon police news release said on Friday.
