Great Malvern Farmers Market cancelled until further notice

MARKET: The market as it was previously held at Malvern Priory THE Farmers Market in Malvern has been cancelled until further notice after the second lockdown came into effect. Following a rise in coronavirus cases, Malvern Hills District Council leader Cllr Sarah Rouse confirmed the Great Malvern Farmers Market, next set to be held on January 16, has been cancelled until at least February. She said: It is more important than ever to stay at home and follow Government guidelines to stop the spread of coronavirus. It is a shame the farmers’ market has been cancelled but residents can still support local businesses by taking advantage of the delivery services on offer, a list can be found here: www.malvernhills.gov.uk/community/town-centres.

Malvern Farmers Market in the running for prestigious national award

MARKET: Steve and Becky Boffey A POPULAR market in Great Malvern is in the running to become Farmers’ Market of the Year. The monthly Great Malvern Farmers’ Market, which is run by Boffy Markets Ltd in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council, has been chosen as one of four finalists in the Farmers’ Market of the Year category of the Farm Retail Awards. Steve and Becky Boffy, who have been running Boffy Markets Ltd since 2006, took over the Great Malvern Farmers’ Market 18 months ago. The market offers an abundance of fresh, local produce on offer, ranging from meat, fruit, vegetables to cheese, pickles and treats.
