Boeing will refrain from commenting on its financial outlook while it focuses on quality control after a near-catastrophic 737 MAX flight earlier this month, the company said Wednesday.

Low-cost airline SpiceJet expects to resume Boeing 737 MAX aircraft operations by March, a senior company official told CNBC-TV18.
The energy-efficient and cost-saving aircraft has been grounded since nearly two years following safety concerns.
While the aircraft has been approved by the US aviation regulator Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), it is yet to receive a nod from European aviation regulator European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The Directorate General of Civil Aviation will conduct its own checks and processes before granting permission to MAX to resume operations. However, I think DGCA is likely to start that process once the aircraft receives green signal from EASA, the official added.
