The storeowner called 911 and man later died at sf general hospital. It jolted me out of bed and i walked out here and ambulance, fire trucks and it was out of a horror morning. Police responded to a call of a suspicious person in the area when officers arrived, they found a burglary in progress. The suspect ran according to police, officers chased them. A taser was fired. The police say a suspect pulled out a gun. Thats when officers shot him. We dont know if the suspect actually fired his weapon. Police say they did recover his gun. One officer was sent to the hospital. He apparently injured his foot or leg during the foot chase. Police have yet to identify the suspect but investigators are still on the scene. The boy is recovering at santa rosa hospital tonight after huge fall down the cliff. Take a look. Dramatic video show as 4yearold boy being lifted up a cliff at bodega head in bodega head walking with family on trail this evening when he suddenly fell to the side. Coast guard sent ship and chopper to the rescue spotted 230 feet down. So dark the chopper couldnt reach him. Crew use rope climate down the cliff face to get to the child.
