COVID-19: Second resident tests positive at Elgin Manor

St. Thomas, ON, Canada / 94.1 St.ThomasToday.ca Dec 23, 2020 10:43 PM Elgin county is reporting this evening (Wednesday) a second resident has tested positive for COVID-19 at Elgin Manor. This brings to five the number of positive cases at long-term care homes in Elgin county. Three staff members at Terrace Lodge in Malahide have also tested positive. The county notes staff continue to work closely with Southwestern Public Health on outbreak management and to identify close contacts of the resident. Both homes have now declared outbreaks as directed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The third long-term care home in the county, Bobier Villa, does not have any reported cases among staff or residents.
