There was a standing ovation for a trio of heroes on Friday Friday at the Wilderness School in East Hartland. Allaith Ghaibah, Ellen Stumph, and Eric Carlson were recognized for their bravery last summer after a harrowing bobcat attack in Lyme.
“I saw a cat. I thought it was one of the Serval – the large breed cats – at first. And I went, ‘Oh, kitty.’ And then I saw the ears perked up and I said, ‘Oh, bobcat.’”
