Republican senator bob corker, chairman of Senate Foreign relations, who is not notably running for reelection. In an interview with the New York Times, he said this about the president. He concerns me. He would have to concern anyone who cares about our nation. I know for a fact that every single day at the white house its a situation of trying to contain him. Except for a few people, the vast majority of our caucus understands what were dealing with here. Of course, they understand the volatility that were dealing with and the tremendous amount of work that it takes by people around him to keep him in the middle of the road. All that came after corker responded to a Trump Twitter tirade against him by saying, quote, its a shame the white house has become an Adult Day Care Center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning. Where corker is concerned, this has been building for sometime, and we have watched him struggle when describing this president.
