Steve Lorenz and Allen Trieu put in crystal balls this week for 2025 DL Bobby Kanka, a 6-4, 255-pound sophomore from Howell. He played last season at Pinckney, where he was teammates with current freshman PWO Charlie Lovell. Kanka was at the MSU game and the crytal balls came in after that, so he obviously liked what he saw on those fourth-down stops. There are no 2025 stars yet, but it sounds like he'll have a bunch of them. He already has offers from Tennessee and Syracuse and some others. His dad Tom was an All-American at Hillsdale College.
Michigan offered 2025 interior defensive lineman Bobby Kanka from Pinckney. He's a 6'4", 250 lb. kid. Miami-OH and Syracuse have also thrown their hats into the ring early. He's listed as a defensive lineman on 247 Sports, but after watching his film, he looks more like an offensive lineman to me. Regardless, he has a few more years for his skills and body to develop, so we'll see how he looks in another year or two.
