Sacramento Elementary School, 300 Alaska Avenue, was demolished during a virtual demolition ceremony on Dec. 18. Sacramento Elementary School has served as the hub of this neighborhood for generations, Alamogordo Public Schools Superintendent Jerrett Perry said. Tens of thousands of children have walked the halls of this school.
