Norman Taylor Ward, age 85 died early Friday morning at AHC Lexington Manor.
He was born May 7, 1935 in Madison County, TN, son of the late Charles Thomas and Hazel Fern Holder Ward. He grew up in Beech Bluff and was a 1954 graduate of Beech Bluff High School. He worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, IL for a time then began working for Piggly Wiggly Company constructing countertops for many years. He also farmed and began woodworking and cabinetry. He raised a large garden and sold vegetables at the Farmers Market and to grocery stores in Jackson. He was a competitive trap gun shooter for over 20 years and he loved to hunt.
