Chief Heidi Cook of Misipawistik Cree Nation near Grand Rapids, Man.  about 400 km north of Winnipeg   says members of the First Nation s emergency response team worked with RCMP to go door-to-door telling people to get out. RCMP received the report of the fire at 1:40 p.m. and people were starting to be evacuated about a half hour later, said Robert Cyrenne from the RCMP in an email.
