Chicopee shifting COVID vaccine appointments at regional site: Mobile vaccine bus to visit city this week

CHICOPEE – The Regional Vaccine Site at the Castle of Knights is shifting the Thursday vaccine appointments to allow the site to run more efficiently.
About 20 appointments will be changed. People who had an appointment are being contacted and will be offered priority booking for the week of May 27 or any available appointment for Wednesday. The site, which is open between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Memorial Drive, will also be offering vaccinations to walk-ups on Wednesday as long as doses are available, said Bobbi Mabb, mayoral communications director.

CHICOPEE A farmers market complete with entertainment and room for local businesses and crafters to sell their wares is expected to open in Chicopee Center in June.
The Center Fresh Market is being created through a partnership between the city and the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, with assistance from federal Community Development Block Grants that will double the amount of produce low-income people will be able to purchase using food stamps, also known as SNAP benefits.
