âSomething s got to give, and something s got to change,â Jo Ann Gross said.
Gross recently learned they are able to transfer their 15-year-old to another care facility, after already spending a couple weeks at a different one.

“Due to reports of possible demonstrations beginning this weekend, out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our employees and to prevent damage to postal equipment, a number of blue collection boxes near the capitol are being temporarily removed from service,” USPS spokesperson Bob Sheehan told CBS 58 in a statement.
“The Postal Service will continue to review the ongoing situation that is impacting our community,” the statement went on to say. “USPS apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and thank our customers for their understanding at this time.”

Two local Dorchester-based unions – IBEW Local 103 and Pipefitters Local 537 – held toy drives this past week to help families facing hardship this holiday season. Local 537, represented by Business Manager Tom Kerr, to Santa Claus’s left above, Marine veteran and Inside Guard Danny O’Brien, and Organizer Chris Brennan, collected an estimated $20,000 worth of new toys for Toys for Tots, including Lego sets, games, dolls, and sports equipment.
