Our unpaid Bee Cave mayor, Kara King, has been working tirelessly to advocate for the people that elected her. Contacting utility providers, sending daily emailsto households with updates on when relief is expected were just some of the ways she assisted the community.
She also found the latest forms of help, including finding sources of bottled water for those without running water and creating a spreadsheet for those without heat, power or water so neighbors with utilities could open their homes to those suffering without basic needs.
Ted Cruz should call her for tips.
