Council and Police continue to fail over basic protection of residents

Well, there s been one rape and several stabbings in the past two months. There have been continuous muggings in the park, even during lockdown.
CCTV and lighting has been promised for over three years now - yet nothing has been delivered.
I m pretty sure if they wanted to patrol the park, lock it at night, put the CCTV in to actually protect people, they could.
Instead they last cabinet was away renaming roads.
Seems like a massive failure to the victims of crime to me.
