fire around the corner to carey street. soon, firefighters were battling two massive blazes within blocks of each other. i ve never seen two at once. he says he has no doubt. we very rarely have two multiple fires. and have them be so close in resources. it s once or twice in a career that you see that kind of event. conditions are ripe for fires to spread fast. we ve got low relative humidity, high winds and very dry fuel conditions. later this night, firefighters confronted another fire. though not nearly as bad as the other fires, which ruined eight vacant row houses and the homes of two families, including evabrown s. we got out with our lives. we re not hurt. nobody is injured. the children are fine. reporter: investigators have not ruled out the possibility of arson. they have a lot of work ahead of them over the next few days, as they try to figure out who or what started this blaze in west baltimore. we are live, derek valcourt, wjz eyewitness news.
