Glasgow Sheriff Court A THUG who threw his mum against a radiator and a table before branding her a ‘grass’ avoided jail. Alistair Heron, 30, turned on Carol-lyn Heron, 54, at her flat in Glasgow’s Knightswood on April 26 this year. Heron argued with his mum before committing the brutal assault. Frightened Carol-lyn called her daughter while Heron shouted: “Grasses, you two have f ed it for me.” The brute then attacked Carol-lyn again in October when she suffered a cut to her head. Heron pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the assaults and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
