A THUG who threw his mum against a radiator and a table before branding her a grass avoided jail today. Alistair Heron, 30, turned on Carol-lyn Heron, 54, at her flat in Knightswood on April 26 this year. Heron argued with his mum before committing the brutal assault. Frightened Carol-lyn called her daughter while Heron shouted: “Grasses, you two have f ed it for me.” The brute then attacked Carol-lyn again in October when she suffered a cut to her head. Heron pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the assaults and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner. The court heard a drunk Heron began to argue with Carol-lyn at 7.30pm during the April incident.
