Woodrow wilson had spent seven Months Overseas negotiating. Professor armstrong wished that the treaty would vault the u. S. Into a leading position in the global order but u. S. Domestic political divisions, combined with turmoil created by a flu pandemic, red scare, racial unrest and wilson suffering a stroke all contributed to his failure to receive ratification. Kansas city hosted this event and provided the video. Our guest speaker, dr. Gary t. Armstrong, teaches American Foreign policy for u. S. Programs in washington, d. C.
