Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Calls for Inclusion of State History in Textbooks
Khandu said it is his government s duty to educate the younger generation about the state, its cultural diversity from initial stages of their education.

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday stated that school textbooks should include chapters on the state s history and culture, to enable students to know about their state and its past.
The Chief Minister made the statements at the launching ceremony of the book Flights of Fantasy: Heroes of 1962 Indo-China War, Abu Tani s Speaking Tree and other articles , authored by Group Captain (Rtd) Mohonto Panging Pao in Itanagar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the ‘Mahabahu Brahmaputra’ project in Assam. The PM will also lay the foundation stone of Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge and perform Bhumi Pujan for construction of Majuli Bridge Assam on 18th February 2021 at 12 noon via video conferencing.
The programme also includes
shilanyas (foundation stone-laying)
for construction of tourist jetties at four locations, namely, Neamati, Biswanath Ghat, Pandu and Jogighopa with the financial assistance of Rs. 9.41 crores from the Ministry of Tourism. These jetties will promote river cruise tourism, generate local employment and also generate growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Mahabahu-Brahmaputra , lay the foundation stone of Dhubri Phulbari Bridge and perform Bhumi Pujan for construction of Majuli Bridge Assam on February 18, 2021 via video conferencing. ITANAGAR: The CMs of Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh along with Union Minister Kiren Rijiju took to the adventure mode when they tried their hands on archery in Gyankhar village.
In a video shared by the Arunachal CM Pema Khandu, CM Sangma along with Pema Khandu and Kiren Rijiju the ministers were very excited to be a part of the sport.
It is to be mentioned that Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma was is in Arunachal Pradesh for a launch event.
