At the scene for you, east lake avenue and east Central Avenue in tampa where according to tampa police this police car here crashed into that electric pole after following a suspects car, a car that they believed was involved in a carjacking yesterday, and also, several other robberies. Three other robberies since yesterday. According to police, an officer spotted that car, a black sudan, and fostled it followed it into this area, the suspects car ended up crashing and as that officer was catching up to the suspects car, the car also crashed. We are told the officer did have minor injuries as a result of that crash. He was taken to the hospital where he is being treated at this time. Police are on the loose.
