Blake s Tinman Triathlon had its second installment Saturday in Reedsburg in honor of Blake Fenwick, who died by suicide in 2020. Proceeds from the event benefit mental health student scholarships.

A Ludowici woman has been displaced after her mobile home caught on fire around 3 a.m. on Jan. 14.
According to firefighter, Bob Hefley of the Ludowici/Long County Volunteer Fire and Rescue, the fire completely destroyed the home. The homeowner, a 72-year-old woman, managed to escape with only the clothes she was wearing.
Hefley said when firefighters arrived the single wide mobile home located on South Main Street was fully engulfed in flames. Fire fighters from Walthourville and Long County State Prison fire unit were requested to provide mutual aid.
