My name is bob clark and 9 executive director of the president ial library and museum and it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Eleventh Annual roosevelt reading festival. Fdr established the first president ial library in hyde park. He envisioned it becoming the premier Research Center for the study of the roosevelt era, very consistently one of the busiest Research Rooms in the president ial library system. One of the reasons we love this day so much is we get to see the fruit of the labors of all the people who use our Research Room throughout the year. It is our pleasure to have you here.
