POINSETT COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - Poinsett County Judge Bob Cantrell is stepping down from his position at the end of the year.
We told you Monday that Cantrell submitted his resignation during the quorum court meeting Monday night.
On Thursday, Cantrell told Region 8 News it was just time to move on.
“I’m leaving the same way I got here. I prayed about it, God gave me permission to leave, the county set a date for me and that’s exactly what I’m doing,” said Cantrell.
