Hospital fundraiser surpasses goal

The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation hosted the annual Care from the Heart Radio-a-thon Thursday and was able to surpass its goal of $250,000. Throughout the day, six local radio stations broadcasted lived from their respective stations, encouraging listeners to make a donation. Kill 107.7, 106.7 Rock, Country 95.5, B-93.3, 94.1 CJOC FM and 2Day FM 98.2 all participated and helped raise $262,412 for the foundation. “We are once again thankful for the outstanding support of our community,” says Jason VandenHoek, executive director of Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation. “Because of this support, we can continue to ensure that the best of care is available at the Chinook Regional Hospital.”
